Who is Wayfinder?
Mike Rogan
Founder
Mike has an undergraduate educational background in Computer Science and an MBA in Marketing Strategy. He first applied this combination of skills at Lenovo in a Business Intelligence role supporting marketing and Sales with mission-critical data and analytics. Here, he gained hands-on experience with CRM, Data Warehouses, and a variety of SaaS solutions as a customer.
Mike’s passion for solving problems with SaaS tools led him to IBM Consulting (formerly Bluewolf) where he helped customers like Harvard Business School, the American Red Cross, Stanley Black & Decker, and Berkshire Hathaway implement Salesforce and other marketing/sales SaaS solutions.
After IBM, Mike joined Salesforce as a Solution Engineer and then Product Marketer to help customers of all sizes and industries understand the value of the Salesforce platform and how it can help solve organizations’ largest problems. He was responsible for internal enablement, certifications, release readiness, product roadmaps, events, and art-of-the-possible solutions and worked closely with the Product Management team.
Since founding Wayfinder, Mike has continued to build on his technology and marketing expertise, leveraging AI and AWS technology solutions for his clients.
Mike is currently on a running streak that he started at the beginning of the pandemic and has logged at least a mile every day since March 2020. He is passionate about giving back to the community and has volunteered with organizations such as Back On My Feet, DC Central Kitchen, and Children’s Flight of Hope. He also enjoys exploring and loves to travel, cook, and join running tours as a way to experience new locations.
